TS01
Frame ID: TS01
Description: The linear yellow object is cutinite derived from plant cuticles. Note that one side of the feature is flat while the other side is crenulated. This is characteristic of cutinite. The red areas are vitrinite and the dark features are inertinite. The small yellow spots are sporinite. The dark circular feature at the center right edge of the frame is resinite. Note how the other macerals are compressed around it. This indicates that the resinite was rigid when it was incorporated into the peat that formed the coal.
