The upper layer is black inertinite and yellow sporinite in a vitrinite matrix and the lower layer is vitrinite. The two layers are separated on the right by cutinite. The Orange and yellow feature in the center of the field is resinite. The white areas are holes in the thin section formed during the polishing process.
