All of the red material is vitrinite except for a few resinite ovoids and the black material is inertinite. The feature in the center of the field is a megasporinite. Note the center of the megaspore which is the contact where the top and bottom of the orinigal spherical spore came together. All of the yellow material is sporinite except for a stringer of fluorinate in the bottom of the field. (transmitted light, Harlan Seam, eastern Kentucky, width of field, left to right: ~350 µm)
