All of the red material is vitrinite and the black material is inertinite. Note the large fusinite/semifusinite with open cell structure in the lower part of the frame. The feature in the center of the field is a megasporinite. Note the center of the megaspore which is the contact where the top and bottom of the orinigal spherical spore came together. The small yellow features are sporinite. The white areas are holes in the thin section formed during the polishing process.
